Job summary

General Motors seeks a Senior Global Sourcing Manager to oversee software, SaaS, and infrastructure purchases on a regional and global basis. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiate terms, and work with IT, security and legal to prepare sourcing recommendations for management.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, IT, Legal, and Business Stakeholders to drive supplier selection, performance, and contract outcomes.

• Develop and manage technology sourcing strategies for software, SaaS, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT, security, legal, and engineering to define requirements and timelines.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract protections with suppliers.
• Manage renewal cadence and monitor supplier performance and risk.
• Create benchmark data to inform sourcing decisions and supplier selection.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure regulatory and policy alignment.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally as needed.
• Adhere to corporate purchasing and accounting policies and procedures.
