Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an AI Senior Compliance Advisor to join the Enterprise Compliance and Governance (EC&G) team. The role provides second-line advisory support for AI across the enterprise, ensuring activities are developed, deployed, monitored, and governed in line with regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related control functions.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an experienced Compliance advisor for AI initiatives across Vanguard.
• Provide second-line review, oversight, and governance of AI activities and risk classifications.
• Advise business partners on AI-related laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate AI compliance risks.
• Evaluate AI use cases for fairness, transparency, privacy, and governance obligations.
• Design and maintain AI compliance policies, controls, and program documentation.
• Monitor AI regulatory developments and assess applicability to Vanguard.
• Translate requirements into practical guidance, training, and implementation plans.
• Support risk assessments, reviews, monitoring, and remediation efforts.
• Review incidents, inquiries, and control gaps; support corrective action plans.
• Prepare materials for management and governance forums.
