Jobgether seeks a hands-on Director of Technology to lead the development, evolution, and strategic direction of digital platforms for an internationally focused nonprofit. Based in the United States, the role oversees architecture, data capabilities, and AI/ML initiatives, guiding staff, donors, and stakeholders.

You will manage a small technical team and external consultants while remaining actively involved in engineering, in a fully remote setting with distributed teams.

Formación

• At least 6 years of relevant software development experience including leadership of teams or projects.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript, and React.
• Experience with WordPress and Salesforce is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience implementing AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Ability to translate technical and data requirements into practical solutions for stakeholders.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and guide technical professionals, consultants, and external resources.
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment with distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own health, performance, architecture, and ongoing development of digital platforms.
• Maintain existing applications and build new features using PHP, React, JavaScript, and WordPress.
• Ensure technology solutions support organizational operations and stakeholder needs.
• Lead development and management of the organization's data architecture.
• Transform data into actionable information for staff, donors, and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement AI/ML opportunities to advance the mission.
• Coordinate Salesforce consultant and full-stack engineer.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to direct reports and external resources.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to understand technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Continuously assess platforms to improve functionality, scalability, and performance.
