Job summary

Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH) is seeking a Health Communications Specialist to support the Global Border Health Team (GBHT) within CDC’s Division of Global Migration Health. You will develop and adapt training materials, translate guidance into learner-centered content, and support diverse audiences across partner countries.

This role requires strong instructional design, curriculum development, and evaluation skills, with the ability to work independently and with public health

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, health education, public health, communications, education, training, or a related field.
• Experience developing learning materials for diverse audiences and translating guidance into learner-centered content.
• Experience designing instructor-led, virtual, hybrid, and eLearning materials with implementation experience.
• Experience localizing training content for country-specific systems and low-resource settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update training materials and curricula for global border health capacity building.
• Translate technical guidance into learner-centered training products and job aids.
• Create instructor-led, virtual, hybrid, and eLearning modules for diverse environments.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare reports with improvement recommendations.
