Job summary

Manitou Group is seeking a Treasurer & Tax Manager to lead day-to-day tax activities across the North American region, aligning with US GAAP and IFRS. The role reports to the Director of Finance and involves managing cash flow and long-term investments.

You will develop tax strategies, coordinate returns, and advise top management on tax implications of regulations and proposed legislation. Requires strong communication and experience in manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of public accounting and industry experience with federal, multi-state and international income tax responsibilities.
• Experience in a manufacturing organization or with manufacturing clients in public accounting.
• Prior experience in sales and use, payroll and property taxes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute corporate tax strategies and policies aligned with operational goals.
• Review proposed transactions and suggest changes to optimize tax results.
• Coordinate tax return preparation, documentation, and payment for Federal, State, and Canadian taxes.
