Job summary

CRG Search is seeking an experienced Tax Transformation Manager, Risk & Controls to lead design, implementation, and enhancement of a global tax risk and control framework. The role focuses on modernizing tax processes, strengthening internal controls, and leveraging technology to scale the tax function, with initial international exposure to the UK, France, and Australia.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation required.
• CPA or CMA certification required.
• 5+ years in tax processes, internal controls, risk assessments, international audits, or tax transformation.
• Experience with international tax and multinational enterprises.
• Recent U.S. GAAP and SOX experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax transformation initiatives to strengthen governance, internal controls, compliance, and efficiency across global tax functions.
• Design, implement, and enhance tax risk and control frameworks to align with SOX-like requirements.
• Evaluate tax processes, identify gaps, and lead remediation to mitigate risk.
• Develop RACMs, process flows, control documentation, and governance standards across tax compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks and improve control design and effectiveness.
• Standardize tax control practices across international operations to improve consistency and compliance.
• Support tax-related audits, control testing, and remediation activities with internal and external auditors.
• Develop training materials and best practices to strengthen tax control awareness.
