Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Tax Transformation Manager to lead the design and implementation of a robust tax control framework, aligning with SOX-like requirements. The role is based in Charlotte, NC, and will reshape processes, clarify accountability, and enable a scalable, data-driven tax function aligned with Compass’s growth and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation required.
• CPA or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in tax processes and controls, international audits, risk and controls assessment.
• Recent US GAAP and SOX experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and continuous improvement of governance and documentation standards for tax compliance functions to meet SOX-like requirements.
• Assure business processes across functions have controls to manage tax risk; participate in risk assessments.
• Oversee remediation of tax control deficiencies and advise on RACMs.
