Job summary

Withum is expanding its International Tax team and seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead complex tax returns (C corp, S corp and partnerships) across multiple client engagements. The role emphasizes strategic federal/state planning and collaboration with seasoned CPAs and industry leaders.

The position offers a clear path to Partnership, a strong client service culture, and opportunities to develop teams while delivering value to clients and the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license or Master’s of Science in Taxation.
• 8+ years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns.
• Strategic planning for clients including advising on federal and state compliance issues.
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities.
• Conducting discussions with team members on evaluations and providing counsel.
