Job summary

Withum is seeking an International Senior Manager to lead tax engagements from multiple offices including Boca Raton, FL, and other locations. This role offers a pathway to Partnership and requires overseeing complex returns and strategic planning for diverse clients.

The position emphasizes strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with a focus on driving client value, mentoring staff, and expanding the firm's international tax practice. Travel to various offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license or Master of Science in Taxation.
• 8+ years of experience in the tax department of a public accounting, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client's management.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing complex C corp., S corp., and partnership income tax returns.
• Strategic planning for clients including advising on federal and state compliance issues.
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities.
• Conducting discussions with team members on evaluations and providing counsel accordingly.
• Serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
• Seeking and developing new clients/business.
