Job summary

EchoStar Corporation, based in Englewood, Colorado, seeks a strategic VP of Tax to guide global tax planning, governance, and executive advisory. You will shape the companys tax vision, lead senior tax leadership, and partner with the CFO and Board on growth and risk.

You will oversee M&A tax strategy, cross-entity structuring, compliance, and reporting, while building a leadership pipeline and ensuring governance across the tax function.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated expertise in tax strategy, planning, and M&A in a complex global organization.
• Proven ability to act as enterprise advisor translating tax considerations into strategic business guidance.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee global tax strategy aligned with business objectives, growth, and risk appetite.
• Lead tax strategy for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, JVs, and reorganizations; advise on tax implications.
• Lead and develop senior tax leaders; establish governance and oversight across the tax function.
• Provide executive-level tax insights to the Board and senior leaders; present concise recommendations.
