Job summary

EchoStar is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Tax to lead enterprise tax strategy, global planning, and governance. The role partners with CFO, executive leadership, and Board to shape tax direction for growth and risk management.

The successful candidate will oversee taxes across mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and international operations, develop senior tax leaders, and provide strategic guidance to executives on tax implications of strategic options.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, including leadership.
• Expertise in tax strategy, planning, and mergers & acquisitions.
• CPA required; Big 4 and public company experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct the enterprise tax strategy for the company.
• Lead tax strategy for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.
• Provide governance and oversight for the tax organization and succession planning.
• Present to the Board and executive leadership on tax implications of strategic options.
