Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Tax Manager – Global Provision to lead the calculation and reporting of the global income tax effects of its operations. You will own the U.S. GAAP provision, uncertain positions, and audit interactions, while partnering with Finance and Tax functions to forecast cash taxes.

The role includes optimizing TRCS usage, enhancing tax technology, and guiding disclosures for mergers and strategic initiatives in a global, matrixed organization.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related technical field.
• Eight+ years of experience in public accounting or industry with ASC 740 reporting for a multinational public company.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. federal and state income tax concepts.
• Experience with tax provision software, preferably TRCS or OneSource.
• Proficient in tax research, analysis, and communications with leadership and auditors.

Aufgaben

• Oversee interim and annual U.S. GAAP income tax provision (ASC 740).
• Own analysis and documentation of uncertain tax positions and valuation allowances.
• Serve as primary tax contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Present provision results and tax drivers to Tax and Finance leadership.
• Partner to drive cash tax projections and ETR forecasting with Global Finance and FP&A.
• Drive implementation and enhancement of TRCS and related tax technology.
• Own SOX controls for income taxes and maintain documentation for audits.
• Model provision effects of legislative and accounting changes.
• Evaluate book-tax differences and prepare related disclosures.
• Lead provision analysis for M&A, reorganizations, financing, and business initiatives.
• Identify improvements to global tax reporting processes and data governance.
