Job summary

Expedia Group, a global travel company, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead the global income tax provision under ASC 740 and to drive improvements in tax reporting. You will partner with Finance, Tax, and FP&A, manage SOX controls, and oversee the implementation of Oracle TRCS to ensure accurate, timely tax reporting.

You will interact with auditors, prepare technical memoranda, and lead strategic tax analyses related to transactions and changes in tax law.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Tax or related field.
Eight+ years of ASC 740 experience in a multinational public company or large corporate environment.
CPA license strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax concepts and ASC 740.

Responsibilities

Oversee the interim and annual U.S. GAAP income tax provision (ASC 740).
Manage uncertain tax positions and valuation allowance assessments.
Serve as primary tax contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
Present provision results and JTDR drivers to Tax and Finance leadership.
Lead process improvements including automation and tax technology implementations.
Drive tax provision preparation for transactions (M&A, restructurings) and changes in tax law.
