Job summary

OKX is seeking a Head of Tax Information Reporting to lead a global function covering CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA, and 1099-DA for multiple entities. Data extraction, reconciliation, and filing will be core tasks, with ownership of vendor relationships, data specs, and QA processes.

Remote work is available with a strong US/EU preference, and occasional travel to OKX offices. You will build a small senior team, set policy, and oversee onboarding self-certification while coordinating with Legal,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in tax information reporting, tax operations, or regulatory data reporting.
• Experience leading a team in a global exchange, fintech, or digital asset platform.
• Strong data skills with ability to reconcile large datasets to a ledger.
• Working knowledge of CARF, DAC8, CRS, and FATCA; data warranty and validation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA, and 1099-DA reporting for all entities.
• Define data specifications for engineers, and build/test data pipelines.
• Build and run QA framework; ensure reconciliation to source and schema.
• Manage the tax platform vendor, contracts, calendar, testing, and renewal.
• Set group reporting policy and interpret regimes across jurisdictions.
• Lead onboarding self-certification design and undocumented account restrictions.
