PayPal is seeking an experienced Tax Counsel - Information Reporting to ensure global compliance with information reporting and withholding tax rules (FATCA, CRS, CARF and 1099). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess new products and changes for reporting requirements and craft defensible positions.

The role offers a balanced hybrid work model with some in-office and remote flexibility, and opportunities to influence PayPal's tax strategy across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years relevant tax experience and a JD or foreign equivalent.
• Admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Ability to independently manage significant tax matters.

• Advises on complex tax issues affecting operations and initiatives.
• Develops technical tax analyses for planning, reporting and compliance.
• Partners with Finance and business units to structure tax-efficient initiatives.
• Identifies tax risk exposures and mitigations in line with risk tolerance.
• Coordinates with outside advisors and mentors junior staff.
