Job summary

Accountants One, Inc. is seeking a Tax Compliance Manager to lead corporate tax across federal, state, sales/use, and international requirements, working closely with the Controller and VP of Finance.

The role will involve guiding internal and external audits, developing robust internal controls, and driving remediation where gaps are found. You will partner with Finance, HR, IT and Operations to strengthen processes and ensure regulatory compliance, while presenting updates to senior leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
3-5 years of experience required.
CPA is a must or actively sitting for parts of the CPA.
Strong GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
Corporate tax experience (public or private).
Multi-entity and multinational experience preferred.
ERP Systems experience and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead corporate tax compliance at federal, state, sales/use, and international levels.
Lead internal and external audit engagements across domestic and international entities.
Manage relationships with external auditors.
Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
Identify control gaps and drive remediation efforts.
Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to strengthen processes and compliance.
Present audit, controls, and compliance updates to senior leadership.
Drive process improvement, automation, and data analytics initiatives.
