Job summary

MariaDB is seeking a Global Tax Manager to own the coordination of our global tax compliance calendar and support the integrity of our statutory books across jurisdictions. You will work with the Corporate Controller, accounting team, and advisors across time zones.

Responsibilities include managing tax returns (income, sales, VAT), reviewing drafts, monitoring nexus, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and coordinating with external auditors. CPA required; NetSuite experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA certification is required.
• 5–8 years of total tax and accounting experience.
• Public accounting (Big 4 preferred) plus industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate global tax compliance calendar with external advisors.
• Review and sign-off on returns and filings for reasonableness.
• Monitor nexus, registrations, and changes when expanding footprint.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support transfer pricing entries.
• Coordinate with external auditors on statutory audits and consolidation.
