Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Talent Acquisition leader to head the Life Sciences & Healthcare team's global TA function. This high-visibility player-coach role partners with senior leaders, mentors a small global team, and directly leads critical searches while solving complex recruiting challenges.

You will translate business priorities into practical recruiting strategies, improve candidate experience, and use data and market insights to influence decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant talent acquisition experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring Talent Acquisition professionals across geographies.
• Strong executive presence and ability to partner effectively with senior business and HR leaders.
• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruiting for complex, specialized, or senior-level roles.
• Ability to translate business priorities into practical, high-impact recruiting strategies.
• Strong judgment, learning agility, and the ability to figure things out in ambiguous situations.
• Hands-on leadership style, with the willingness to personally own searches, processes, and outcomes when needed.
• Proficient in English and comfortable working with international stakeholders.
• Experience recruiting across consulting, sales, software development, research, analytics, product, or other highly specialized functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a small global Talent Acquisition team, creating clarity, focus, and momentum across priorities.
• Serve as a player-coach by managing key searches directly while enabling the broader team to deliver with excellence.
• Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, talent gaps, and market dynamics.
• Develop practical recruiting strategies that balance speed, quality, candidate experience, and business impact.
• Support hiring for a range of roles across consulting, sales, software development, research, analytics, product, and other specialized areas.
• Provide guidance and challenge to hiring leaders on role definition, candidate profiles, market realities, selection approach, and offer strategy.
• Use recruiting data and insights to identify risks, improve progress, and inform decisions.
• Help the team prioritize work, remove barriers, and stay focused on the highest-impact outcomes.
• Strengthen collaboration across Talent Acquisition, HR, business leaders, and other partners to ensure a connected and consistent hiring experience.
• Model inclusive leadership by creating an environment where perspectives are heard, people are supported, and the team succeeds together.
