Job summary

Appian, headquartered in McLean, VA, seeks a Director to transform TA operations and enablement across the globe. You will architect structured assessments, modernize TA systems, and drive hiring quality for an AI-powered process automation company.

You'll partner with the Global TA Head to set strategy, build scalable workflows, and lead a high-performing team, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 12+ years in progressive product or operations leadership, with at least 5 years in HR/TA.
• 2+ years designing/implementing structured assessment platforms.
• Experience with enterprise ATS/CRM platforms and recruiting automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a structured assessment framework that standardizes candidate evaluation and improves quality.
• Partner with the Global Head of TA to deliver strategic initiatives and credibility with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Drive TA operational excellence through SOPs, data audits, and governance across regions.
• Modernize the recruiting tech stack: Greenhouse, automation, reporting, and integrations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing TA operations team.
