Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Sustainability Specialist within the Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) organization to advance regulatory reporting and disclosures across global operations. You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Accounting, and business units to collect data, draft disclosures, and ensure alignment with CSRD, ESRS, and related frameworks.

The role requires substantial experience in sustainability reporting and governance, with a focus on scale, accuracy, and stakeholder communication

Qualifications

• 7+ years in sustainability reporting, assurance, compliance or legal.
• 5+ years in project management and stakeholder engagement with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to analyze and synthesize large data sets for external reports or disclosures.
• Experience in human rights impact assessments or value chain mapping for disclosures.
• Deep knowledge of CSRD, ESRS, CSDDD, UNGPs, HREDD, HRIA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate regulations’ requirements and develop reporting preparation plans with a focus on social metrics and disclosures.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of reporting methodologies, frameworks, and templates to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Analyze large volumes of qualitative and quantitative sustainability data and draft disclosures aligned with ESRS standards.
• Design and execute streamlined stakeholder engagement strategy and mechanisms for metrics and reporting.
• Build partnerships with cross-functional partners to coordinate data collection, validate findings, and review disclosures.
• Manage workstreams and projects, tracking deliverables and ensuring on-time, high-quality reporting.
