Job summary

GardaWorld seeks a Global Support Specialist to oversee operations for a global client base from Washington, DC. You will lead a results-driven team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences while managing security-related communications and incident response.

Responsibilities include client inquiries handling, security incident reporting, and using tools like Everbridge and UNSMIN to support real-time decisions.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant, progressively responsible work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, risk management, security management or related field.
• Strong security or GSOC technical skills; experience with Travel Risk Management systems, crisis communication apps (Everbridge), and security/information management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client requests by phone, MS Teams, and email; adhere to response standards and service levels.
• Handle Emergency Call line protocol, log interactions, and report daily activity.
• Record and resolve inquiries; route to Regional Security Adviser as needed.
• Maintain databases and Everbridge/UNSMIN records; ensure data accuracy.
• Access UNSMIN to obtain contact details, troubleshoot clearances, and run reports.
