Job summary

Waters is seeking a Sr. Global Supply Planner to lead global planning, drive supply visibility, risk management, and governance across supply, commercial and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating with distribution centers, maximizing material use, and producing dashboards to support continuous improvement in the supply chain. 5+ years of experience, Master Scheduling, SAP, Power BI, and a passion for healthcare operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Supply Chain, Math, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or operations planning.
• Master Scheduling experience required.
• Experience with Biologics/Reagents a plus.
• SAP, Power BI, MS Office, and database tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with distribution centers to order and reserve inventory for key customers.
• Provide data for KPIs (root causes of order issues, excess & expired inventory, schedule compliance, etc.).
• Maximize use of material to minimize excess inventory and scrap; monitor forecast changes.
• Create master schedule of planned orders for products; manage data to improve supply chain processes.
• Create reports to support process improvement and analytics for supply chain and operations.
• Lead or participate in projects as SME and drive continuous improvements.
• Deploy statistical techniques to support stocking strategies in US and regions.
• Execute strategies to reduce inventory and improve cash flow.
• Inventory management: develop and execute stocking processes that improve customer experience.
• Build and operate global reporting programs to standardize projects and initiatives.
• Set/reset inventory targets for finished goods across distribution centers.
• Communicate inventory position, budget, and forecasts to senior management via dashboards.
• Formulate policies to improve cash flow and profitability while driving growth.
