Job summary

Waters is seeking an experienced planning professional in Milpitas, CA to own production planning for service parts, repairs, and spare components. You will translate forecasts into actionable plans, balance demand with inventory targets, and collaborate across Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, and Service teams.

Required are 7+ years in planning, SAP ECC/S4HANA, and advanced Excel skills; Power BI and data modeling experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in production planning or related fields.
• 5+ years SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA for planning functions.
• Advanced Excel with Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data analysis.
• Strong analytic and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own production planning for service parts, repairs, and spare components.
• Convert forecasts into production, procurement, and inventory plans.
• Balance demand, inventory targets, material availability, and capacity.
• Identify and resolve shortages and planning constraints.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, and Service teams.
• Participate in S&OP, inventory planning, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as SAP planning SME and support data governance and system enhancements.
• Support Power BI reporting and data quality improvements.
