Zusammenfassung

Redwood Materials is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Engineer to scale mechanical component suppliers (stampings, busbars, harnesses, CNC machined parts) to meet ramp schedules at our San Francisco R&D Space.

This on-site role requires 30% travel to supplier sites and close collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing to ensure parts meet dimensional, functional, and reliability requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Experience with automotive/high-volume electronics preferred.
• Strong GD&T and dimensional metrology skills.
• ACCEPTANCE of APQP/PPAP and ISO quality systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%

Aufgaben

• Support supplier audits and risk assessments for mass production readiness.
• Collaborate with GSMs, Design Engineering, and suppliers to align specs, tolerances, test coverage and process controls.
• Review dimensional and quality reports, first article inspections, and other data to ensure part compliance.
• Lead PPAP/FAI activities and set incoming inspection criteria based on critical characteristics.
• Maintain supplier scorecards with KPIs such as yield, delivery, and DFM responsiveness.
• Support NPI builds and DFM/DFA feedback through early supplier engagement.
