Novax Recruitment, on behalf of a fast-growing energy technology company, seeks a Global Supply Manager to lead sourcing for PCBAs, power magnetics, and electronic components in San Francisco.

This strategic role supports new product introduction, manufacturing growth and long-term supply-chain development; requires 5+ years in electronics sourcing, a relevant degree, and travel to supplier sites 10–25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in electronics sourcing or global supply management.
• Experience with PCBAs, contract manufacturing, and electronic components.
• Strong PCBA cost drivers knowledge and commodity strategy.
• Willingness to travel internationally (10–25%).

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and supplier development for PCBAs, transformers, power magnetics, and electronic components.
• Manage RFQs, negotiations, supplier agreements, and pricing.
• Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing on NPI and production readiness.
• Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and capacity.
• Develop cost-reduction, dual-sourcing, and supply-chain risk strategies.
• Support contract manufacturer sourcing and manufacturing footprint decisions.
• Travel internationally to supplier and CM sites as required (10-25%).
