Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Global Supply Manager for AWS Infrastructure Services to own procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring robust planning for critical silicon components, PCBA subtier parts, and global delivery.

The role collaborates across AWS Supply Chain, Hardware Engineering, and product teams to balance cost, risk, and capacity for AWS datacenters. The incumbent will analyze trends, manage supplier relations, and drive improvements to maintain reliable supply

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
• 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

Responsibilities

• Create and execute supply planning strategies for critical silicon components or other critical PCBA subtier components, to meet the ASC team, the category, key programs, and customer needs
• Prioritize activities and align with stakeholders across the AWS Supply Chain teams and Hardware Engineering to deliver supply globally with a high degree of predictability
• Manage supplier relationships and allocation of material to demands based on priority
• Be a subject matter expert for the customers, technologies, and markets in which you engage
• Gather data and synthesize reports to help run rhythm of the business including QBRs, monthly, weekly operations syncs, and ad-hoc requests
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross functional teams to improve tools and process to better meet our capacity needs
