Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Networking team is seeking a Global Supply Manager for optical modules and components in Cupertino. You will own supply planning and capacity management, partnering with forecast teams, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply for AWS growth.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in program or technical project management, with a Master’s in a technical field and experience handling complex cross-functional supply chains in a dynamic cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• Master's degree in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute supply planning strategies to meet the category, department, project and customer needs
• Prioritize activities and align with stakeholders to deliver supply globally with a high degree of predictability
• Manage supplier relationships and allocation of material to demands based on priority
• Manage and optimize production capacity over a 12 month+ horizon
• Be a subject matter expert in the production process, lead time, and supply chain dependencies of your materials
• Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
• Identify and drive realization of opportunities for durable, relative advantage in your category
