Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Project Manager for our Austin office. The role centers on continuity projects—supplier moves, dual-sourcing, and supplier exits—across a matrixed global organization.

You will lead cross-functional teams, maintain the project plan, and drive deliverables and risks to closure with clear communication to stakeholders. This onsite role offers growth and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or analytics in a global org.
• Professional certifications (PMP, CAPM, Six Sigma) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: manage multiple continuity projects end-to-end from intake to closure.
• Supplier Transitions: coordinate site moves, dual-sourcing, supplier exits, and integration.
• Change Management: handle supplier change notifications and approvals.
• SNF Administration: review supplier submissions and route for approval.
• Material Movement: plan and track movement of material between suppliers and sites.
• Collaboration & Communication: maintain relationships across Global Supply Chain and partners.
• Risk & Issue Management: identify risks, own issues, and escalate as needed.
• Analytics & Reporting: pull and analyze data to track status and risk.
• Continuous Improvement & Documentation: document processes and contribute templates.
