Western Digital Corp. is building the Global Supply Chain Organization's (GSCO) Business Process Governance program to unify policy, ownership, and auditing across the six GSCO functions.

The Governance Specialist role focuses on the procedural backbone—ownership assignment, audit-control mapping, scheduled reviews, and alignment with real-world operations—while coordinating tooling, training, and continuous improvement efforts to enable scalable governance and digitalization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in process governance, procedure lifecycle management, audit support, compliance program management, or COE/PMO operations.
• Experience managing a procedure or document library at scale—ownership, version control, review cadence, and audit trail requirements.
• Working knowledge of audit control frameworks; ability to map process documentation to control requirements (Internal Audit, ISO, SOX).

Responsabilités

• Operate the BPG governance platform as the day-to-day system administrator: document repository, approval workflow, version control, audit trail, and automated review reminders.
• Configure tooling for each function and ensure access controls align with ownership model.
• Lead the governance tooling evaluation and selection process in partnership with IT.
• Coordinate training cadences and track training completion; report status to functional leads.
• Support pilot execution and rollout for the BPG program across GSCO functions.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of CI KPI inputs.
