Job summary

WD is building a Global Supply Chain governance program and seeks a Governance Specialist to manage procedure lifecycles, audit mapping, and tooling operations across six GSCO functions. You will ensure ownership, audit-readiness, and continuous improvement while coordinating with Functional VPs and SMEs.

The role emphasizes governance execution over content creation, with potential lead for governance tooling selection and IT partnership. Strong PM and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in process governance, procedure lifecycle, or COE/PMO operations.
• Experience mapping procedures to controls (Internal Audit, ISO, SOX, or similar).
• Ability to own, version-control, and track review cadences and audit trails for large document libraries.
• Exposure to Supply Chain, Procurement, or Global Operations domains with SME collaboration.
• Strong project management skills and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
• Clear, structured written communication to produce framework docs, gap analyses, and status reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage full procedure lifecycle: intake, review scheduling, version control, approval routing, publication, and archival.
• Map procedures to audit controls and maintain the control registry; support pre-audit readiness.
• Operate and configure the BPG governance platform, including repository and workflows.
• Lead tooling evaluation and liaison with IT for platform configuration and rollout (for designated hire).
• Set cadences for procedure reviews weighted by risk; coordinate training and track completions.
