Job summary

Nimble is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic sourcing for critical components and assemblies that power our autonomous robotic systems. You will work with Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations to drive cost improvements, scale production, and build a resilient supplier base.

You will own category strategies, negotiate favorable terms, and manage risks across domestic and international suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sourcing for high volume manufacturing or complex assemblies.
• Ability to develop and implement category strategies with measurable cost improvements.
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Experience leading cross‑functional programs with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and NPI teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own category strategies for key components and assemblies to scale production.
• Achieve or exceed cost targets through should-cost modeling and market analysis.
• Negotiate commercial agreements including piece price, tooling/NRE, and key terms.
• Manage supply chain risk through capacity, geopolitics, and logistics assessment.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering to align design direction with cost objectives.
• Drive supplier readiness across prototype to mass production builds.
• Plan and optimize logistics and warehousing to reduce costs and risk.
• Summarize key issues with partner teams and drive corrective actions.
