Job summary

Bechtel Supply Chain interns gain hands-on experience across global projects, working with procurement, contracts, inventory, and logistics. The program is a structured 10-week summer experience designed to translate classroom learning into practical applications through challenging assignments and professional development.

Interns are treated as valuable team members and will be exposed to Bechtel's project objectives, with assignments across GBUs and functions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor's degree in SCM, POM, or Logistics.
• Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in one of the above fields.
• Possess eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in qualification, evaluation, negotiation, and selection of global suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders and subcontracts to ensure satisfactory performance.
• Oversee complex logistics for transportation, receipt, and storage of equipment and materials.
• Build supplier and contractor relationships.
• Engage with category management teams for technical and commercial intelligence on the supply chain.
• Perform materials management to ensure proper planning, scheduling, and receipt for project use.
