Job summary

Bechtel’s Summer Internship Program offers a structured 10-week experience across multiple U.S. locations, designed to translate classroom learning into practical application.

Interns work alongside industry professionals on projects that impact communities and Bechtel’s global business, gaining exposure to real project work, professional development, and mentorship. As a Supply Chain intern, you’ll explore areas like procurement, contracts, inventory, logistics, and integrated materials

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Production and Operations Management, or Logistics Management.
• Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in one of the above fields.
• Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in qualification, evaluation, negotiation, and selection of global suppliers and contractors.
• Manage purchase orders and subcontracts to ensure satisfactory performance and terms.
• Oversee complex logistics for transportation, receipt, and storage of equipment and materials.
• Build supplier and contractor relationships and engage with category management teams.
• Perform materials management to ensure proper planning, scheduling, and receipt.
