Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate Director of Data Science for Global Supply Chain Digital to lead AI/ML, GenAI, and analytics initiatives across a global network of teams, based in Thousand Oaks or remote. You will guide the development of digital products and a new India-based capability, shaping governance and delivery models for data science and digital developers.

Qualifications

• Doctorate with 3+ years of related experience OR Master’s with 5+ years of related experience OR Bachelor’s with 7+ years of related experience OR Associate’s with 12+ years of related experience OR high school with 14+ years of related experience.
• Strong leadership and experience building/scaling global or offshore teams.
• Experience developing scalable data science applications for manufacturing/supply chain.
• Expertise in AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, digital product development, and data architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; ability to work with large datasets.
• Experience in Agile environments and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI/GenAI and analytics solutions across Global Supply Chain operations.
• Lead scalable digital products and analytics applications using large datasets.
• Establish and scale Global Supply Chain Digital capability in India with governance and processes.
• Provide leadership for global teams of data scientists and developers across locations.
• Partner with business, IT, and data engineering to deliver robust analytics solutions.
• Develop executive visuals and KPIs for strategic decision-making.
