Fortinet in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Buyer to support purchasing, material planning, and logistics. You will execute POs, manage supplier relationships, ensure material availability, and maintain ERP accuracy while coordinating transport for inbound and outbound goods.

The role requires 2+ years in purchasing/logistics, ERP experience (Oracle preferred), and strong English communication. You will engage with global teams across time zones and participate in process improvements

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of purchasing/procurement/materials/supply chain experience.
• Experience managing POs, suppliers, material availability, and delivery commitments.
• Experience with freight forwarders/logistics providers preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP, waterfall analysis, and RYG reporting in EMS/electronics manufacturing.
• Familiarity with electronic components and BOMs.
• International suppliers and shipments a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience required, Oracle preferred.
• Strong verbal and written English; Mandarin a plus.

Aufgaben

• Execute and manage purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers based on demand and schedules.
• Monitor supplier commitments, delivery dates, and on-time delivery in the ERP system.
• Maintain purchasing master data, including supplier information, lead times, and pricing.
• Communicate with suppliers on delivery commitments, shortages, and supply issues.
• Track PPV, validate pricing, and support cost-control initiatives.
• Coordinate transportation with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
• Track inbound/outbound shipments and address delays and risks.
• Obtain freight quotations and verify invoices against rates.
• Coordinate quarter-end shipments and in-transit inventory visibility.
• Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and Accounts Payable to resolve issues.
• Escalate critical risks and support process improvements in purchasing and logistics.
