Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Summer 2027 Global Supply Chain Intern to support supplier account managers, procurement, materials managers, and analytics. The role covers RFQ processes, supplier profiles, and part analytics to optimize commodity strategies.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in supplier negotiations, cost-reduction initiatives, and MRP tasks while collaborating with leadership to drive efficiency and excellence in materials supply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related major.
• Strong academic record with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Assist with RFQs and supplier selection processes.
• Support supplier analytics and part data for part family assignment.
• Collaborate with supplier accounts managers on cost reduction opportunities.
• Assist in running MRP-related tasks and PO management as needed.
