Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. is hosting a paid internship in Alabama for students enrolled at university or a gap year between degrees. The role spans global supply chain and data analytics, requiring fluency in English and German and studying outside the USA.

You will work on project management, process design with SAP Signavio, and create dashboards; the start date January 2027 is preferred; visa costs covered and a housing bonus of $700.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain or business administration or related field.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Experience with BIC Process Design and SAP Signavio.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day project needs, structure, timelines and due dates.
• Support process documentation and translate German process steps.
• Analyze transit times and propose improvements.
• Analyze historical data to understand trends and propose data driven changes.
• Create Visual Dashboards for Global Supply Chain Insights.
• Develop metrics to track global logistics performance.
• Develop a risk management framework for customs compliance.
• Identify and implement cost savings in international transport.
• Attend daily team meetings and support the Warehouse Administration team.
