Job summary

Celestica seeks a Technical Advisor for Global Supplier Quality at its Richardson, TX site. You will lead supplier quality programs, guide audits, and drive improvements with internal teams and external suppliers. You will apply advanced quality tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, SPC, Gage R&R), manage risk, and collaborate on NPIs and supplier development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing engineering, quality and/or supply chain.
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills.
• Experience with international quality standards (AS9000, ISO13485, IATF16949, FDA, VDA).
• Extensive experience with audits and corrective actions.
• Advanced problem-solving using 8D and core quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to GSQ team members.
• Monitor supplier requirements and ensure clear expectations.
• Lead Quality Planning during NPI, launches, and transitions.
• Support risk-based supplier audits, on-site or virtual.
• Develop and maintain robust GSQ processes and document control.
• Report issues and supplier performance to management.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions with suppliers.
• Participate in periodic business reviews with high-impact suppliers.
• Educate suppliers on core quality tools like FMEA, APQP, PPAP.
