Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Bowling Green, KY, seeks a Supervisor, Supplier Quality Development Engineering to lead quality initiatives across North American suppliers and drive improvements with strong SMF/IC know-how.

You will coordinate with suppliers, plant quality and engineering, manage audits and PPAP for new products, and mentor a team to resolve issues promptly. Travel up to 60% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Science/Industrial Management.
• Five+ years in automotive Tier 1 quality.
• Three+ years leading teams.
• Experience in AIAG modules: PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP.
• Knowledge of IS9000:2000/TS16949 and audit methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement and development activities with Bendix North America Suppliers.
• Supervise direct reports and track priority issues to resolution.
• Oversee supplier PPAP for new products/transitions.
• Act as liaison between suppliers, group, and plant quality/engineering.
• Conduct audits for new suppliers, supplier development, and product safety.
