Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Supplier Development lead to strengthen supplier production systems in a global, high‑complexity manufacturing environment. You will diagnose, design, and implement system‑level improvements that translate into repeatable methods across regions.

You will work across procurement, engineering, quality, and operations, travel up to 30% internationally, and coach teams to adopt robust routines, playbooks, and standard work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience improving production systems in high-complexity industrial supplier environments.
• Ability to influence across functions without direct authority; willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose supplier production systems (flow, capacity, constraints, stability) and identify root causes of system-level gaps.
• Drive targeted improvements in throughput, lead time, and robustness through bottleneck resolution and system-level countermeasures.
• Strengthen supplier capability through robust operating routines (system visibility, review cadence, escalation logic, structured problem solving).
• Translate enterprise priorities into sequenced supplier development initiatives with clear baselines and measurable outcomes.
• Convert hands-on improvement experience into standard work, playbooks, and training for repeatability across teams.
• Operate across business areas in a matrix environment, influencing stakeholders and enabling sustained adoption through technical credibility.
