Qualifications

• Deep systems thinking: flow, capacity, constraints, variability and stability.
• Proven ability to diagnose and improve real production systems using data and analytics.
• Experience translating hands-on work into repeatable methods (standard work, templates, playbooks) for coaching.
• Ability to influence across functions without direct authority; willing to travel internationally up to 30%.

• Diagnose supplier production systems (flow, capacity, constraints, stability) and identify root causes of system-level gaps.
• Drive targeted improvements in throughput, lead time, and robustness through bottleneck resolution and system-level countermeasures.
• Strengthen supplier capability through robust operating routines (system visibility, review cadence, escalation logic, structured problem solving).
• Translate enterprise priorities into sequenced supplier development initiatives with baselines and measurable outcomes.
• Convert hands-on improvement experience into standard work, playbooks, and training that enable repeatability across teams.
• Operate across business areas in a matrix environment, influencing stakeholders and enabling sustained adoption through technical credibility.

You will strengthen the industrial systems of SiemensEnergy’s global supply base, particularly in high‑complexity manufacturingenvironments. This role focuses on supplier production systems and capabilitybuilding, not site-based Industrial Engineering support inside a single plant,and not supplier quality work centered on inspections, audits, or correctiveaction loops. Your work combines structured diagnosis of production systems(capacity, flow, stability, constraints) with targeted improvements and theexpectation to translate what works into repeatable methods others can apply.You will operate in a corporate Supplier Development environment, workingacross business areas and functions, influencing suppliers and internalstakeholders across regions and cultures to drive sustainable improvementsbeyond individual interventions.

What You Bring

• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, ManufacturingEngineering, Production Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ experience improving production systems inhigh complexity industrial supplier manufacturing environments.
• Deep systems thinking grounded in flow,capacity, constraints, variability, and stability.
• Proven ability to diagnose and improve realproduction systems using data, analytics, and emerging digital/AI based toolsto support decisions and performance discussions, not just track or reportoutcomes.
• Experience translating hands-on work intorepeatable methods (standard work, routines, templates, playbooks) to enableothers via coaching and training.
• Ability to influence across functions withoutdirect authority; comfortable operating in ambiguous, cross-functionalenvironments and willing to travel internationally up to 30%. (travel varies bysupplier priorities and project phase)
