Job summary

Wake Forest University Pre-College Programs seeks an advisor to guide students through the study abroad process, including Wake Forest-administered and Affiliate programs. The role focuses on counseling, onboarding, and coordinating pre-departure activities.

The candidate will support materials development, outreach, and event logistics, while collaborating with campus offices and international partners to ensure a smooth academic transfer path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience living, working, or studying overseas is preferred.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills; ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Advise Wake Forest undergraduates on study abroad options (WFU and Affiliate).
• Implement study abroad policies, prepare materials, and guide students through applications, course registration, and transfer credits.
• Assist with study abroad programming and events (pre‑departure orientations, fairs, campus visits, etc.).
• Administer and facilitate the application process and data maintenance.
• Coordinate outreach with affiliates and develop promotional materials; participate in conferences/site visits.
