Job summary

The role may include teaching a compass course as needed. The Education Abroad Office oversees faculty-led study abroad programs, coordinates with faculty and campus partners, and supports Terra Dotta processes to expand international education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of academic advising experience; OR master's degree and some academic advising experience.
• Proficiency in communicating complex policies to diverse audiences.
• Experience with Terra Dotta and study abroad management systems.

Responsibilities

• Advise students on academic progress, courses, and university resources.
• Identify courses to be completed in upcoming semesters.
• Explain university and college policies to students.
• Provide guidance and training to entry‑level advisors.
• May teach compass course as needed.
• Oversees development, administration, and promotion of faculty-led study abroad programs.
