Job summary

Colorado School of Mines is seeking a Foundational Program Success Coordinator to oversee student engagement, program operations and academic and cultural transition support for company-sponsored students in the Foundational Year Success Program.

The role involves coordinating with Mines and external partners, monitoring participation and outcomes, and ensuring consistent delivery across cohorts while handling budgeting, data reporting and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Education, Communication, Student Life, Project Management, Human Development, or related field (or 5+ years of equivalent higher education administrative experience).
• International student engagement experience with orientation, transition, or student-success programs for international students.
• 3+ years of higher education administrative experience; proficient in Workday/HRIS and MS Office; strong calendar management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Learning Communities Programming & Student Engagement, coordinating scheduling, logistics, guest speakers, and resources for virtual and on-site delivery.
• Manage Budget Stewardship and track expenses; compile accurate expense reports and support faculty travel logistics.
• Track cohort persistence, retention, academic performance, and event feedback to produce data-driven analyses for university leadership.
• Provide general administrative support to the Mines Online/Professional Education Team.
