Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required.
• 1–3 years of formal DSO/ARO experience working with SEVIS.
• Experience advising international students and/or scholars.
• Strong written and verbal communication with intercultural sensitivity.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with organization.

Responsibilities

• Advise F-1 and J-1 students/scholars to maintain status and employment eligibility.
• Create, update, and maintain SEVIS records and reportable events.
• Stay current with federal regulations, SEVIS procedures, and OGS policies.
• Guide departments on regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
• Provide on-ground advising, orientations, and programming across campuses.
• Collaborate with campus partners on cross-campus coordination and programming.
• Serve on-call rotation for after-hours compliance matters.
