Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a Director, Global Strategy to partner with the Executive Committee and senior leaders on high-impact initiatives across R&D, Manufacturing and Quality. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape the project portfolio, and drive strategic programs with external consultants as needed.

The role requires strong scientific expertise in life sciences and business acumen, plus exceptional communication to align internal and external stakeholders and to advance Waters'

Qualifications

• Advanced degree strongly preferred (PhD, MD, MBA) with scientific or engineering discipline a plus.
• Consulting background strongly recommended, with project management experience.
• Experience in life sciences tools, diagnostics, med device, biopharma or related industries preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sharp business and financial acumen.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence senior management.
• Team player and network-builder with desire to grasp new technology and change the world.
• Energetic, self-disciplined, creative and mature with customer orientation and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional strategic projects defined by the CEO and EC with clear impact.
• Manage collaborations with external consultants and present updates to leadership.
• Support annual strategic planning and define targets and KPIs.
• Identify and assess major business opportunities and inorganic growth.
• Develop people and drive culture change across the organization.
