Job summary

Sandisk is seeking an experienced strategic sourcing leader in California to develop and implement strategies that achieve organizational objectives. This role involves extensive collaboration with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure successful supplier management.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in procurement, especially in the semiconductor sector, along with a strong understanding of DRAM technology. You’ll be responsible for contract negotiations and monitoring market trends.

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years experience in sourcing, procurement and/or supply chain of semiconductors, including DRAM.
• Experienced in supplier management, contract management, and strategic sourcing process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and prices to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate with departments to drive initiatives and resolve issues.
• Monitor commodity market trends and manage supplier performance.

Skills

Knowledge of procurement best practices and sourcing methodologies

Memory Technology Expertise: Deep understanding of DRAM types

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Working knowledge of SAP Ariba

Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects

Experience working in a global/matrix organization

Education

BS in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
