Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a Global Category Manager, Foundry in California to define and drive the global sourcing strategy for semiconductor commodities. You will own category roadmaps, secure supply continuity, and lead executive negotiations with strategic suppliers to support long-term commitments and technology leadership.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Program teams to mitigate risk, optimize costs, and deliver value through strategic sourcing and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of semiconductor sourcing, category management, supply chain, procurement, or supplier management experience.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing ecosystems, especially foundry.
• Experience managing executive-level supplier relationships and complex negotiations.
• Strong analytical, financial, and risk management capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead through ambiguity.
• Experience managing strategic supply continuity programs and high-impact business risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multi-year category strategies aligned with objectives, roadmaps, and demand forecasts.
• Lead supplier engagement, category roadmaps, and supply continuity with cross-functional teams.
• Drive supplier negotiations, long-term commitments, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide executive updates on supply outlook and savings.
• Partner with Engineering, Planning, Finance, and Operations to secure sustainable supply solutions.
