Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Purchasing Manager to lead our client’s procurement operations. You will design global strategies for IT hardware, software, and services, while guiding a remote team of buyers to deliver measurable cost savings in a fast-paced tech environment.

In this role you will negotiate with suppliers, ensure compliance, and collaborate with IT, finance, and legal teams to align procurement with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, global procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience leading remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage global procurement strategies for IT hardware, software and services.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of purchasing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with global suppliers to secure best terms and pricing.
• Manage complex IT procurement contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimize spend across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT, finance and legal to align procurement with business objectives.
