Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Strategic Events Senior Manager to own Elastic's third-party conference portfolio globally. You will drive sponsorship strategy from evaluation to on-site delivery, collaborating with marketing, sales, and field teams to connect events to pipeline outcomes.

The role is North America-based with travel; you will manage multi-event calendars, vendor relationships, and ROI-focused budgeting to elevate Elastic at key industry events.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in B2B event marketing with focus on third-party conferences and tradeshow programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own a long-range strategy for Elastic's presence at external conferences, tradeshows, and partner events.
• Lead every phase of the third-party event lifecycle—from sponsorship evaluation and contract negotiation through booth build, on-site management, and post-event analysis.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and field teams to connect conference programs to pipeline goals and measurable sales outcomes.
• Own relationships with event agencies, exhibit houses, and service providers; negotiate contracts through Procurement with compliance approvals.
• Build and manage the events budget; define success metrics, track ROI, and continuously improve portfolio decisions.
• Anticipate risk and build contingency plans for on-site logistics and venue changes.
